This heavy hors d’oeuvres menu usually includes a combination of appetizers passed on our beautiful platters and stationed platters displayed on tables throughout the reception. Clients may select items off our Hors D’oeuvres and Stationed Platters menus.
Modern Buffet Options
A buffet offers guests a large variety of dishes without the expense of additional staff. Many guests choose to start their reception off with a pre-set or plated salad followed by guests being called by individual tables up to our innovative buffet displays staffed by professional attendants. The Local will provide our specialty buffet serving dishes, utensils and customized menu chalkboards for each client.
Stationed Dinner Options
Stationed Receptions are a great way to incorporate different food themes or get creative with your menu! We love mixing different styles of cuisines and a stationed dinner is the perfect way to do so. We can do stationed meals that incorporate cocktail style finger foods or more elaborate stations with some of our Local specialties.
Family Style meals typically start with a plated salad or appetizer course followed by plattered entrées and side dishes that guests share at the table. Family style meals require rental platters and serving utensils.
Plated Dinner Options
Our chef will work with each client to create a delicious coursed menu for a plated style reception. Plated events require clients to assign guests to seats or tables with the guidance of our catering coordinators. Plated Styles include:
Single or “Duet” Style Entrée
Guests are served a plated single serving, usually chicken or beef, accompanied by a seasonal vegetable, starch & bread. They also have the choice of selecting a “Duet” option, typically beef and seafood paired with a seasonal vegetable, starch & bread.
Multiple Entrée Style
Guests are served two entrées, usually a meat & fish and a vegetarian option if needed, paired with carefully selected seasonal vegetables, starches & bread.
